Pharmacy professional students face challenges in establishing their professional careers. The consequences of digital advancements and increased competition among pharmacy professionals require individuals to stand out in the industry.

Two experts from Medela Potentia, Mrs. Sylvana Uli Basa, Talent Acquisition & Company Branding Manager at Medela Potentia, and Mr. Karel Andika Winarso, Marketing & Content Senior Officer at PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), served as speakers to enhance the competence and knowledge of students entering the professional world. They conducted a 'Sharing Knowledge' session on November 10-11, 2023, at two universities in Yogyakarta, namely Sanata Dharma University and Gadjah Mada University (UGM).

In collaboration with Dharma Dexa, the event was attended by over a hundred pharmacy professional students. Dr. Nanang Munif Yasin, S.Si., M.Pharm. Future Preparation for Pharmacists

In the 'Sharing Knowledge' session, Sylvana presented on "Tips and Tricks for Creating an Attractive CV and LinkedIn Profile and Facing Interviews in English."

"With complete information, starting from personal data, experiences, and a professionally captured profile photo, it will ease recruiters in obtaining information about candidates and increase the chances of progressing to the next stage," said Mrs. Sylvana.

After having an appealing CV, candidates must also prepare themselves for the interview process. "There are three things to prepare when going for an interview. First, familiarize yourself and gather information about the company you are applying to. Second, understand the job description and requirements for the position. Finally, practice interviews in English," added Mrs. Sylvana.

Mr. Karel provided insights into the 'Digital World of the Pharmaceutical Industry and Online Sales Policies in the Pharmaceutical Industry,' where the Ministry of Health has set a blueprint for digital health transformation by 2024. The blueprint states that all health services must be integrated into the SATUSEHAT platform.

Mr. Karel mentioned that the digitalization process is happening across all pharmacies in Indonesia. The digitalization of pharmacies is crucial to providing easier and faster access to health products for the Indonesian public.

To ensure better access to health products, the Medela Potentia has developed strengths in the digital health ecosystem through the GPOS B2B application for e-commerce health products, the GPOS Lite application for pharmacy management and operations, and the GoApotik application as an option for online pharmacy aggregation.

"Pharmacies in Indonesia still have significant growth potential, and therefore, there is a significant role for pharmacy professionals," said Mr. Karel.
