Dynamic Argon’s Significant Role in Dexa Medica’s 25-Year Journey of Healthcare Excellence in Cambodia


PT Medela Potentia Tbk. through Dynamic Argon Co., Ltd., has played a significant role in the 25-year journey of Dexa Medica, which has been instrumental in enhancing healthcare services in Cambodia since 2000. The celebration of Dexa Medica’s 25-year contribution to providing quality healthcare was commemorated at the 25th Anniversary of Dexa Medica Cambodia event held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Phnom Penh.

 

During his keynote speech, Under Secretary of State, Ministry of Health of Cambodia, H.E. Dr. Peas Muslim emphasized that the Cambodian Ministry of Health is committed to improving healthcare services through various strategic measures to reduce patient mortality rates and enhance overall medical care.

 

One of its key initiatives is granting more licenses to private companies importing pharmaceutical products to ensure broader availability of essential medicines. The Cambodian Ministry of Health also underscores the importance of improving the quality, efficiency, and safety of medical drugs used in healthcare services.

 

“By implementing this strategy, the government aims to foster a stronger healthcare system that prioritizes patient well-being and ensures access to high-quality healthcare services,” he stated.

                                 

The Indonesian Ambassador to Cambodia highlighted that Dexa Medica serves as a prime example of an Indonesian pharmaceutical company that has successfully entered the international market and contributed to global well-being. This success also reflects the strong bilateral relations between Indonesia and Cambodia.

 

“Dexa Medica’s presence in Cambodia signifies Indonesia’s capability to produce top-quality pharmaceutical products that are well-received in foreign markets. I appreciate Dexa Medica’s contribution to strengthening trade relations between Indonesia and Cambodia,” he stated.



The Synergy of Dexa Medica and Dynamic Argon in Cambodia’s Healthcare System

 

Dexa Medica’s high-quality pharmaceutical products play a crucial role in Cambodia’s healthcare sector. The Cambodian government is currently working towards achieving Universal Health Coverage by 2035, as outlined in the Roadmap Towards Universal Health Coverage in Cambodia 2024–2035. Dexa Medica contributes to the Cambodian market by offering over 100 pharmaceutical products across various therapeutic classes, including antibiotics, cardiovascular-metabolic, respiratory, and oncology.

He pointed out that Dexa Medica’s journey in Cambodia began in 1998 when Dynamic Pharma started importing essential medicines to support the Ministry of Health.


He also emphasized the importance of expanding access to high-quality medicines in Cambodia. He noted that the collaboration between PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) and Dynamic Pharma resulted in the establishment of Dynamic Argon Co. Ltd. in 2019, a modern pharmaceutical distribution company built upon international standards of Good Distribution Practices.

On this occasion, Business Development and Scientific Affairs Director of Dexa Medica, Prof. Raymond Tjandrawinata delivered a presentation titled Precision Medicine and Pharma 4.0, discussing how advanced technology and genetic insights can enhance the quality and effectiveness of treatments. He emphasized the importance of standardization and validation at every stage of pharmaceutical production to maintain consistent quality.

 

Prof. Raymond also underscored Dexa Medica’s commitment to providing high-quality pharmaceutical products. “Through Pharma 4.0 technology, we ensure that our products undergo Bioequivalence Testing to confirm their therapeutic equivalence with reference medicines. With these innovations, Dexa Medica continues to support medical professionals by delivering more precise and effective healthcare solutions for patients,” he explained.
